Our newest recruit! Simon is an events industry stalwart - going from 90s/naughties DJ to his own events company, Impulse in 2003, before joining Concerto in 2011. He has always enjoyed pushing the boundaries and refuses to accept the status quo of events and catering. A KERB follower since the beginning, he is excited about how we can further push for better food on the streets and at events, as well as bring more people together to have fun in this town. Twice voted in the top 100 most influential people in the events industry, we are happy to have him with us as we grow.
OPERATIONS, DEVELOPMENT, BARS
Lianna is our terrier and goes after things with total focus and dedication until the job is complete. Originally discovered working on the Luardos burrito van and with a background in recruitment and social enterprises, we scooped her up with relish. She handles loads of elements across the business - from setting up our bars to getting our systems smoother to business planning. Super bright, loads of fun and a massive asset to KERB.
HEAD OF MARKETS
Ian studied with Petra for the MSc in Urban Studies at UCL where they bonded over their shared love of food and the city. He became immersed in London politics for a while, focusing on housing and welfare issues, before realising that his true love was for small-scale, independent food production and the community and cultures that revolve around it. Part obsessive foodster, part political strategist, what makes Ian such an asset to KERB is his undying attachment to the well-being of the city and belief that food can play a crucial role in enhancing life and uniting people. He brings coherence and an analytical mind to the table, helping us to grow from strong roots. Rock solid.
HEAD OF PRIVATE EVENTS
New Yorker, Alana has ten years in the events world under her belt - from heading up the events team at St Pauls' Cathedral and Royal Hospital Chelsea to organising the iconic 'Diner en Blanc' in London in September 2015. Not only that but she took Urban Studies at university so she's got that city thing going on that we all love round here. Driven, fired-up, capable, fun - look out, coming through!
MARKETS AND INNOVATION
Another find from the burrito van - Luardos trains them up good! Ollie is the Fixer - from managing our King’s Cross market and the 360 pitches a month trader rota across all our sites, to building databases that make our lives easier. He gets the business and he knows the traders - and he’s always there with new ideas for how to fix stuff. Big help.
PROJECT MANAGER: PRIVATE EVENTS
Ophelia is a bona fide food obsessive. She studied in Bra at the University of Gastronomic Sciences and wrote her Masters thesis on urban agriculture in NYC. She brings her rich background to the KERB table and is a key part of the Private Events team - always with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring the best food possible is served at every event we cater.
PROJECT MANAGER: MARKETS AND EVENTS
Rachael's the kind of girl who treks across the El Camino on her own, is never far from radio contact and always carries a Leatherman. She loves that Leatherman. She burst onto the team in April 2015 and quickly learned the ropes of KERB on the ground - chalking out pitches and master-minding risk assessments with relish. Brilliant addition to the team, proper do-er, sunny and smart.
