Mixing together comfort, colour and spice
KERB, 2013

Why we love them

First of all, Gaurav is one of the most adorable people we've ever met. The guy is perky! Just a really great, buoyant guy who is head over heels for the kerb life. Of course his partner, Sandhya, is vital to the Horn OK medley and it is so good to see two friends getting so stuck in to it all. Their stall is a taste of that medley and offers a multitude of different textures, colours, layers of spice, all carefully gathered together - foraged from atop their heaving table - to produce a box groaning with Indian niceness.

What they serve

Moong Dal Dosa
Spiced lentil crepe filled with our own special masala potato and served with channa chaat
Samosa Chaat
Veg samosa topped with channa chaat
Aloo Tikki Chaat
Potato patties topped with channa chaat
Bhel Puri
Mixture of puffed rice, chutneys, sev and vegetables
Pani Puri / Dahi Puri
Puffed pastry filled with various chutneys and fillings

In their own words

Between us Gaurav and I have lived in the UK for half our lives but still missed the true taste of Indian street food without the frills of a fancy restaurant setting. We feel that London in particular is missing out on the whole street food experience found through out the sub-continent. We want to expand peoples perceptions of Indian food away from their local curry house. We put our passion into every plate and ensure that every customer gets a holistic experience and not just a delicious meal.

Why the kerb life

We love the daily interactions with people and bringing a fresh approach to the streets of London. and life couldn't get better by making someone's day by serving freshly made amazingly deliciously food.
