Capish? Capish? Capish? Capish? Capish?
The best Italo-American sandwiches going, understood?
KERB, 2015

Why we love them

Rachel is a trooper as she dedicates her every waking hour to getting the message across about Capish? These are the meatballs you long for but are usually disappointed by. It's a big pot of steaming, sauce-covered polpetti smooshed into a semolina sub and drenched with melted provolone and it's winking lasciviously at you when you try and walk by. You can't, they're too good.

What they serve

Our menu changes, though we always have meatballs! If coming to visit us then please check our twitter to find out what specials we have on that day.
At markets we usually offer the following:
Meatball Hero - Rare breed pork and beef meatballs, slow simmered in our house made marinara sauce.  Served with rocket on a toasted polenta sub and drizzled in provolone cheese sauce.  Add our homemade Jalapeño salsa to spice it up little!
Fried Chicken Parm - Free range chicken thigh in a fennel parmesan crust, melted mozzarella, marinara, garlic sautéed chard and parmesan on a buttermilk roll.
Just Balls Salad - 3 of our hand rolled meatballs in marinara, rocket salad, zucchini slaw with provolone cheese sauce or parmesan and pickles.
Steak 'Braciole' Sandwich - Rare breed steak, stuffed with garlic, parsley, pecorino cheese and chili and then slow braised in a Genovese style sauce onion and bone marrow.  Served on a glazed buttermilk roll with melted taleggio cheese and home-pickled red onions.
Eggplant Parm - Layers of breaded aubergine, garlic sautéed chard and marinara, topped with mozzarella, hard Italian cheese and salsa verde in a buttermilk roll.
Watch out for specials like Eggplant Fries, Ox cheek Lasagne Rolls and Porchetta sandwiches!

In their own words

We want to bring you a little piece of (little) Italy, right here in London.  We make meatballs your nonna would have made, sloppy joes that you're happy to wear down your front, plus the best braciole this side of NYC.  Quality ingredients are key for us and we try to source the best meat, bread and cheeses to create something we think is pretty special.

Why the kerb life

Street food has allowed me to have my dream job.  I get to cook, eat and talk about incredible food 7 days a week!

Fave Kerbster

I can honestly say i love something from every trader but my constant cravings are for a Dosa Deli or the fish wrap from Vinn Goute.
Saltwood's Calamari made my summer and and I just can't get the Born and Raised/Oli Baba's collaborative KERB birthday pizza out of my head! Next level!
Decatur and Pokē just blow me away with their skill, flavours and the attention to detail in their food.
