REPORTS TO: Head of Events


The Sales and Business Development Manager will play a critical role in protecting the company’s existing revenues (from our KERB Caters arm of the business) and improving market presence with the aim of achieving financial growth. To this end they will manage current business relationships, seek and secure new opportunities, analyse current sales positions and create a strategy for future growth.


  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline and optimise conversions to increase revenue
  • Identify key new business (agents/clients) and create clear strategy to develop these relationships, with the goal of creating new clients
  • Research and cultivate new venue opportunities with the aim of becoming the sole or an accredited catering partner of these venues  
  • Contact both hot and cold leads to secure face-to-face meetings with key decision makers
  • Account manage new and existing client/venue/agent to include regular meetings as well as entertaining when required
  • Respond to incoming sales enquiries in a timely manner with relevant information utilising a consultative approach to selling and preparing quotes on request
  • Hand over any confirmed business to KERB’s Event Managers
  • Represent KERB at industry networking and business events
  • Work with the current CRM database to analyse current sales position and client base
  • Improve the workability and usage of current database to create a more robust reporting system
  • Maintaining a network of contacts, partners and industry bodies that enhances opportunities for new and repeat business
  • Conception and management of cultivation, promotional and showcase events for KERB
  • Produce detailed sales data/reports for the Head of Events to monitor and inform sales initiatives
