KERB is dedicated to the incubation and growth of innovative and delicious food businesses. We run exceptional street food markets, workshops, consultancy, bars, a food hall in Central London and have developed a growing, successful corporate catering company, KERB Events Limited.
As part of the warehouse team, You will be part of a vital team that ensures that our events and food hall business has everything they need to deliver stellar operations. This role is suited to a detail oriented and talented individual with experience of maintaining stock and equipment and handling goods. You’ll need to be in love with the food and beverage industry and come with a creative streak and a head for multi-tasking and problem-solving.
Main responsibilities and duties include:
Help with the distribution of event kit and stock at multiple sites around London and the UK
Maintaining event equipment with regular audits and maintenance.
Conducting physical stock counts of stock and equipment
Comfortable with handling goods – loading or unloading vehicles and packing or unpacking pallets.
Booking vans, porters and freelancers for events and deliveries
Ensure all vehicles are kept up to the highest standard and maintained and cleaned regularly
Work alongside the events team to make sure events have all the right equipment for it to run smoothly.
Be able to drive the luton van where necessary or any other van
Unload vans post event, clean equipment and prepare it for the next event
The ability to work on events and run the back of houseSupport and assist in all aspects of the operations to ensure the smooth running of the business at all times including financial, H&S and people targets.
Liaising with the events operations team to understand the operational needs of each event and project
Uphold a culture and environment where people want to work
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
2 – 5 years experience of working in a warehouse environment
Experience in warehouse health & safety
Stock and equipment management
Proactive / self-starter with lots of initiative
Clean drivers license is required
