Here’s what other organisers thought of their events

SUMMER SERIES AT SHOREDITCH GARDENS

With KIN London

The brief: to work with KIN London to transform Shoreditch Gardens into a sunny events hot spot for the whole of the summer.

The solution: bringing a variety of KERB traders to the Museum of the Home, allowing clients to fully tailor their event and bring their tastiest summer party dreams to life! The perfect venue for corporate summer parties, big or small.

THE GUAP GALA AT THE NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM

Awards & Gala Dinner

The brief: Guap’s inaugural Gala Dinner and awards ceremony celebrates creative excellence and champions Authenticity, Diversity and Purpose. KERB were invited to provide food from independent street food traders to match this.

The solution: In elaborate dress to the theme of Fairy tale and Folklore, guests entered ‘Fossil Way’ for a drinks reception, followed by an informal dinner in the Hintze Hall below the iconic blue whale, Hope. Four of KERB’s traders; Kalimera, Jollof Mama, Twerk N Jerk, and Curry on Naan Stop came together to serve a delicious meal – with all dishes served family style in the centre of the tables for 450 guests.

The feedback: “We had so many compliments about the food. The KERB team were so agile and patient.”

THE UK FESTIVAL AWARDS AT TROXY

Seated Dinner

The brief: swap the traditional three-course awards dinner for a seated street food experience that shows off the country’s best festival food.

The solution: by lining the reception space with street food stalls, we managed to establish a festival vibe right from the off. Although canapés were also circulated on trays and the main meal was fully seated, that fun, relaxed feel was maintained through the evening.

The feedback: ‘The team understood the concept and supported our vision throughout. Working with KERB was the easiest part of the entire event. Thanks to their professionalism, positive attitude and attention to detail, the event was a huge success.’

RADIO FESTIVAL AT THE BRITISH LIBRARY

Conference

The brief: bring the quality of catering in line with the quality of the conference itself.

The solution: our ‘DDR with a Difference’, including all-day barista coffees, a varied range of street food for lunch, and some very tempting canapés to go with the craft drinks at the end-of-day reception.

The feedback: ‘Wow, wow and wowsers! KERB are literally incredible! From the very first meeting, they understood what we were trying to achieve and came up with creative ideas to realise our ambitions. The service was fantastic and the food a total hit. Our guest were raving about it.’

LARGE TECH SUMMER PARTY

with Kin London

The brief: Create a high-end but fun festival theme for 800 guests.

The solution: A street food festival was created for the client with an extensive lineup of tasty traders. A variety of themed bars kept guests refreshed with gypsy hill draft beer, frozen watermelon margaritas, and rhubarb gin & tonics from East London Liquor Company.

The feedback: ‘When discussing suppliers for this event, we knew that KERB would be a great fit, but we were totally blown away by everything, from the variety and quality of the food and drinks, to the level of service given by the events team. They were incredibly flexible and easy to work with.’
