We focus on supporting referrals from our Impact Partners across four main areas:

COACHING

COACHING

We help food start-ups to be a success! From individuals with big ideas to those already trading we offer a spread of live and digital coaching opportunities into business and work.

KERB Classroom is the starting point, our bite-sized online course that helps individuals to get started.

For individuals, we have a work experience programme led by our Head of Coaching, Lisa, that will provide key skills across hospitality roles.

INCUBATING

INCUBATING

The InKERBator Programme is our one-of-a-kind programme for street food businesses. Every four months we enroll a new cohort of London’s most exciting street food traders onto the FREE eight-week course.

We run three weeks of face-to-face workshops and six weeks of market trading at our central London pitches before ‘graduating’ and becoming fully fledged KERB members.

In 2022, there were 23 graduates from the InKERBator program who are now out there slinging their dishes to hungry customers up and down the country.

For individuals, we offer an apprenticeship scheme across all areas of hospitality and event management, providing real job opportunities at the end.

ACCELERATING

ACCELERATING

It’s where the real opportunity kicks in for KERB members with unlimited possibilities.

For businesses, we have access to the full KERB Membership and all of the opportunities and benefits that brings. From access to the full community to resources, discounts, workshops, time with the KERB team, residencies, and profitable event catering opportunities.

For individuals, there is the opportunity to access the KERB Work programme membership, the KERB community and resources, KERB mentoring opportunities and further career development opportunities including full-time employment.

FOR INDIVIDUALS: COACHING INTO WORK

Our work experience programme empowers individuals facing barriers to employment.

With four weeks of coaching given to referrals from our impact partners, we boost skills and confidence through focused and supported work experience. Better yet, we guarantee interviews and new uniforms for successful candidates.

We offer work opportunities at the National Theatre, Seven Dials market and with KERB Events as well as within our wider network.

We’re proud to have successfully coached many participants, into full-time employment with KERB and our partners. To make a referral or find out more, email lisa@kerbfood.com.
