We believe in building a community that revolves around brilliant food. We strive to create a workplace that feels more like a passion than a job, where work doesn’t always feel like work. We prioritise investing in people and cultivating long and strong relationships. Our goal is to drive both personal and professional growth in an ever-changing London.
We value people who show initiative, focus, and enthusiasm. We reward the entrepreneurial spirit, with plenty of space to grow and succeed within the team. At KERB, we hold a core belief that service is everything, both inside and out.
We are committed to promoting and supporting diversity and inclusivity in all aspects of what we do. Those aren’t just words. From our internal team culture, to the many brilliant independent street food businesses who make up the KERB membership… diversity is vital and at the core of all we do. We’re not perfect, but it’s mighty important to us and we’ll continue to prioritise it in everything we do.
After operating out of many different kinds of workspaces over the years, from home kitchen to leaking warehouse, KERB HQ is now based in Shoreditch, tucked away in a little courtyard with its own front door.
We know the power of community and are always looking for ways to make a positive impact. KERB’s success is built on the foundation of our people and the environment we operate in, and we’re committed to looking after both.
Our committees focus on making KERB a better place to work – from our Social Committee, to our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee who are working hand in hand with our pals at Be Inclusive. Our Mental Health & Wellbeing Committee provides support and resources to all, while our Social Enterprise Committee is here to catapult the positive impact of KERB+. And our Sustainability Committee works both with our team and our members, to create the road map to achieve our sustainability goals and build our sustainability manifesto.
What’s important to us? Our mission is to create opportunity and joy through great food, from the KERB up.
There are four core values that KERB lives by:
1. Brilliant food only
2. Incubation & acceleration
3. Exceptional hospitality
4. Diverse ecosystem
These aren’t just words. They’re the foundation of our culture and steer everything we do.
Our Core Value
We treat the janitor and the CEO the same.
Everyone is equally important at KERB – and we treat them like it. Good food is for everyone, and so are good times!
