During the Corona pandemic and the closure of restaurants, I started preparing meals and distributing them to my elderly neighbours, and they loved my food. So I thought about starting my business but I lacked experience. I started working with Arnabeet and gained experience in street food markets which encouraged me to start trading in my local area selling falafel wraps. I then introduced chicken wraps, which became my best-seller. I have now started to create Maqluba, which contains rice, chicken and aubergine. I have been through the Streets Ahead programme with KERB and look forward to continuing my journey
