I become a big fan of street since moving to London in 2017 coming from Bristol the street food scene wasn’t that big and I would
Always see allot of cool pops up on Instagram that I wanted to try! The street food scene has not grown allot in the past 5 years all over the country! But my start to street was when everyone went to lockdown, I had no job for about 7 months so I moved back to my parents in Bristol for the time being and just experimented with loads of different foods and flavours! And that’s when I started with the honey soy wing which all my family member was asking me to make every day! Haha so word spread around more of my family members and then friends so when lockdown eased up I done a small takeaway pop in Bristol and it was a smash! Sold out of everything in a couple hours , so the next step was to see if I can make the same effect out of my hometown and back in London and which I did. I started serving wings and the black eats market down in Hackney and since then I haven’t look back, I had some great reviews and retuning customer over and over again! I also quite my 9-5 in the beginning of 2022 to pursue this full time and that’s where I’m at now one year in of doing nothing but Foodie and Grubbies!
