Ranv’s Rasoi is inspired by Ranvir Bansal’s heritage growing up in a British Punjabi household. He became absolutely obsessed with the thought of offering home made Punjabi cuisine but never knew where to start!
His first trip to India in 2007 was life changing. From Punjab to Dehli, to the Taj Mahal & Mumbai, Ranvir was mesmerised by the food and also understanding his heritage, from here is where the seed was very much planted!!
Ranvir learnt to cook from his Mother when he was training for the London Marathon in 2019, and he attended an event back in January 2020 ran by KERB titled “How to start a Street Food Business,” and from then he was just obsessed. Any spare time Ranvir had, he was wanting to cook and learn as much as he could from his Mum.
Lockdown meant he was cooking and trialling recipes out and eventually he quit his job in software sales, purchased a marquee and BBQ and that’s how Ranv’s Rasoi started!
