The Desi Deli was born from a gap the founder Arnav spotted while studying at Brunel University: students and working professionals were crying out for authentic, affordable South Asian food, and nobody was serving it. After testing the concept on campus to a wave of positive feedback, the mission was set: home-style South Asian food that makes people feel nourished and happy. What started at Ridley Road Market has grown into a real London presence – regular market pitches, catering for private events, and a permanent spot at Brunel’s own Quad, serving students and staff multiple days a week.
