We are delighted to announce the first big move for our new Social Enterprise, KERB+.

Beneficiaries of the first year of Streets Ahead after launching their businesses at a one-off KERB+ Market.

In partnership with McCain Foodservice Solutions, we are launching Streets Ahead, a coaching for business programme. Through our incredible impact partners, we’re offering our unique food start-up workshops (starting with KERB Classroom) to over 100 less-advantaged people, free of charge! These charity partners include Food Behind Bars, The Entrepreneurial Refugee Network (TERN), The Connection at St. Martin’s-in-the-Fields and more.

Once they’ve completed the online KERB Classroom course, 45 of the most engaged participants will be invited to an Inspiration Day at Seven Dials Market – a chance to get to know some KERB traders, meet the team, and get hands on advice and training from the KERB team.

“What’s really exciting about the Streets Ahead programme is that we also have a one-day workshop for those who are most engaged. They will be invited to KERB’s flagship street food hall, Seven Dials Market, to immerse themselves in the industry, speak to some of the traders, have a session with me and the rest of the KERB team about what it takes to run a street food business and allow them to really get that face to face in-person connection.” Gavin Dunn, MD of KERB’s social enterprise.

Following the one day workshop, interested participants will be invited to pitch their bright street food ideas to a panel, where ten new successful businesses will receive an investment from McCain of up to £10,000 each to help them hit the kerb running.

An incredible opportunity.
