CHIN CHIN BRING THEIR FAMOUS ICE CREAM – AND A BRAND NEW MARSHMALLOW BAR – TO SEVEN DIALS MARKET 

London’s cult ice cream pioneers bring their signature nitro treats to Cucumber Alley and debut new concept “Mello Deluxe”  

Seven Dials Market by KERB is about to get a double helping of dessert magic as Chin Chin, one of London’s most iconic ice cream parlours, and Mello, the world’s first dedicated Marshmallow Dessert Bar, both open in Cucumber Alley on Thursday 11th September at midday. 

Known for their innovative ice cream methods, viral hot chocolates, and unapologetically indulgent approach to dessert, Chin Chin has built a cult following at their Camden and Soho locations. At Seven Dials Market, they’ll be serving up a greatest hits menu including their rich Burnt Butter Caramel, the fan-favourite Banana Bread Toast & Honey Butter, and an exclusive new creation: the Block of Butter Ice Cream – a nostalgic throwback reimagined as crisp honey toast and strawberry jam encased in a gold-wrapped slab of honey butter ice cream. 

Mello, a brand-new concept from the Chin Chin team, brings their inventive mindset to the world of marshmallow. After years of perfecting their signature marshmallow crème, the team decided it deserved a home of its own. Mello is the result: the world’s first dedicated Marshmallow Dessert Bar, where soft peaks, molten middles and blow-torched finishes take centre stage. 

Expect a menu that blends bold drinks with a rotating list of desserts – from Hazelnut S’mores Hot Chocolate to standout takes on matcha including the “London Fog”: a mix of hojicha, Earl Grey, spirulina and a swirl of their signature whipped Mello crème. On the dessert side, look out for Baked Alaska Lemon Meringue Bombs – and yes, tubes of marshmallow crème to take home.  

KERB opened Seven Dials Market in 2019 and now welcomes up to 30,000 visitors every week. Located in the heart of London’s West End, the space is home to 20+ street food traders from KERB’s membership organisation, many of which have traded at KERB’s pop-up lunch markets and events for years.
