A big next step for KERB and the coming together of their post-COVID ideals – KERB Counter is a bar and test kitchen, set in the heart of Shoreditch, focusing on the incubation of new, fun and delicious food and drink ideas, and rooted in KERB’s position as London’s premier incubator of food talent.
KERB Counter will play host to a rotation of food residencies, pop-ups, new ideas and never-seen-before collaborations, all with an emphasis on the fun and the new. Here is the place to try the latest talent on the KERB books, a future star of Seven Dials Market or a spin-off idea from a veteran of the London food scene. Expect exceptional bar snacks available for walk-ins in the main space, and book a table in the downstairs restaurant for the full sit down experience.
KERB Counter’s all-day bar will see the development of new cocktails and a rotating range of drinks worked on in collaboration with our brilliant partners – Gipsy Hill Brewing Co, East London Liquor and Redemption Coffee – debuted here before moving on to the larger, iconic venues KERB runs across the city.
The project is headed up by three long-standing KERB team members who’ve been instrumental in the success of other venues, ensuring delivery is on-point at every moment. Husain is the cocktail mastermind on drinks and bar service, James, dedicated to food and trader incubation like no other, and Hannah, the hospitality queen setting the tone for the entire venue. Finally, the wider KERB trader network is fully plugged in as a discounted members space to work, host meetings and come up with the next big idea.
