It’s been a while – who knew how time-consuming opening a 7 day a week indoor market would be?! Time for a quick update:

A month ago we launched Seven Dials Market with a series of parties – for the builders, for the locals, KERB traders a soft launch and then a daddy of a bash on Friday 6th September for all our friends and family. By the time we actually opened the doors (for real) to the public, we had given the place a good once over and were as ready as we were ever going to be to press go on our new 364 day a week operation…for the next 20 years (crikey).

Here are a few pics of the launch. Head to sevendialsmarket.com for what it’s like now open – and for what to eat and drink – and do – in that beautiful space!

Enter our traders…

They were HUNgry:

Paula Yay Yay, Abi Le Choux and Paula Gnocchi at 84 knocking it back

Lily Stakehaus when there’s beef around

Tucka Burger in the building

Cally Munchy’s Ebeneezer’s undecided on if he chose the right bowl or if Oli Baba did

Just one more wafer thin wing for Charley from Growlers

Then the thing kicked up another gear on the Friday night

Quick thank you to everyone speech from Petra

Spot of civilised dining at Pick & Cheese

Then enter the Gospel House Choir to christen the place. Pure magic.

And that was it, we were high from the music and all the people enjoying themselves. SDM became a great big cathedral of eating and drinking and dancing and joy. Couldn’t have been better really.

Come and see us sometime – and if you’re reading this you are someone whose opinion we’d love. It’s new. It’s massive. It’s a relentless rolling hive of cooking and we want it to be great. Message us (hello@sevendialsmarket.com) and hopefully see you there soon.
