We’re back at Beavertown Extravaganza! With our KERB Caters team feeding over 7,000 people this weekend.
What’s Beavertown Extravanganza? A showcase of the world’s top breweries flown in from around the globe – that’s 60 bars with 2 taps, each rotating beers throughout the session. Ticket holders get a mini goblet and a chance to sample them all (we’ve got our eyes on the Smoked Peach Flemish Sour Pale Ale, Avocado Cactus Blossom Gose and 12% Saskaloonberry Cheesecake Barrel-Aged Lervig), stopping at KERB street food village for a Dosa Deli’s pickled egg pakoras, Capish’s roast porchetta crackling polenta subs and peanut butter pretzel Vicky’s Donuts en route.
KERB STREET FOOD LINE UP:
Dosa Deli – Deep fried pickled egg pakoras served with pav bhaji, curry sauce, Gunpowder cassava chips, chilli cheese dosas and ‘monster’ onion bhaji bowls
Smokin Lotus – Asian BBQ smoked beef brisket and slow-cooked pork belly with homemade chilli hoisin sauce, Japanese-style potato salad, slaw and creamy sesame dressing
Cally Munchy – African fusion Suya steak, spicy cauliflower and chicken tubs with ‘Kelewele’ plantain and homemade chilli sauce on Jollof or coconut rice
Capish? – Italian-Americano sandwiches: whole roast porchetta served with crispy crackling and mostarda, beet kraut, pickled Calabrian chillies, pecorino and house pickles in a chewy Viennese sub, or the slow-cooked pork and beef meatball marinara polenta sub with provolone cheese sauce and jalapeño salsa.
BBQ Dreamz – Adobo glazed garlic wings with pickled green papaya and lime aioli and Filipino BBA ‘Mega Boxes’ with satay chicken, crispy pork belly or vegan aubergine curry.
Bian Dang – Taiwanese oyster mushroom, pork chop and fried chicken ‘Beast Box’ on rice with pickles and tea egg
Petare – Masa fried chicken in Venezuelan arepas with smoky corn, habanero mayo and guava garlic glaze
Oli Baba’s – Halloumi fries with za’atar yogurt, pomegranate seeds, mint, sumac, pomegranate molasses and Wilderbee chilli honey
Only Jerkin’ – Fried jerk chicken nuggets triple-dipped in ginger beer batter with homemade jerk ketchup, jerk gravy, mango aioli sauce and spicy fries
Biff’s Jack Shack – Vegan deep fried jackfruit wingz with sugar cane candied spear, cinnamon sweet chilli sauce, crunchy nuts and crispy onions or jackfruit burgers – the blue ‘cheese’, buffalo hot sauce or smoky bourbon BBQ
Elote – 10 hour braised lamb shoulder quesadillas with mint mojo and queso oaxaca, frijoles, queso chihuahua, chilli salsa and coriander
Mother Flipper – Candy bacon double cheeseburgers
Oh My Dog – Bourbon-braised chilli steak dogs with handmade heritage breed bacon frankfurter, melted cheddar, diced jalapenos, steamed onions, sour cream and American mustard in brioche bun
Nazari – Falafel and halloumi flatbreads with Middle Eastern salad
Born & Raised – Cobble Lane pepperoni, smoked mushroom or vegan cheese woodfired pizzas on sourdough base
